About Our Founder
Abigail S. Mundell
I'm Abigail (Abby) Mundell, founder of North & Now and a marketing leader with over 25 years of experience spanning every facet of the field.
My journey has taken me across industries and marketing roles including, but not limited to, leading marketing and outreach efforts for an international association, Executive Vice President at both local and state-level associations, and COO and partner in a digital marketing agency. Throughout my career, I've built expertise in sectors ranging from banking and healthcare to nonprofits and B2B services.
Throughout these varied experiences, a pattern emerged. The further I advanced in leadership positions, the more I was pulled away from what I loved most—developing strategic marketing visions, mentoring teams, and seeing plans come to life through thoughtful execution. Instead, my days became filled with administrative tasks, operational management, and everything but the work that energized me.
This realization sparked the creation of North & Now
As I built my network through my fractional CMO business, I noticed something powerful in the groups of women entrepreneurs I connected with. They weren't just seeking transactional relationships or business referrals—they were creating communities based on support, camaraderie, shared ideas, and mutual respect. I saw how these authentic relationships naturally led to business success, and that was my tipping point.
I founded North & Now to specifically support female entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders who are searching for their professional passion, work they'll wake up excited about every day. As a female entrepreneur myself, I've benefited tremendously from the insights and support of others throughout my journey. Now I'm dedicated to helping women build businesses they truly love, just as I've found in my own path.
